It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nick Chavez, our beloved founder, mentor, and friend.
Nick passed away peacefully with his family by his side on December 23, 2022, after a long and courageous battle against pancreatic cancer.
One of the hair care industry’s great innovators and spokespersons, Nick’s product line, “Nick Chavez Beverly Hills”, became a global phenomenon, with Nick becoming one of the most watched and admired beauty and style commentators. It was his heart-felt and profound commitment to make women and men feel good and confident in themselves and their appearance. Nick’s accomplished this with style, charm, joy, and laughter. And he loved each and every one of his customers.
Nick inspired people around the globe with his passion, and commitment to bringing beauty into this world, not to mention his abiding joy and devotion to illuminating that true beauty begins and lives within us all. He has touched more people’s hearts than we will ever know.
Nick’s story has been a true love story for the ages. His zest for life, his undying love for his family, his compassion for his friends, and sincere gratitude for his clients, customers, and colleagues he called friends. But, his story does not end here. We will forever feel the warm embrace of Nick’s light and his legacy of love.

Nick will be deeply and profoundly missed.
But Nick’s commitment--- and his brand, his vision, and his legacy--- will continue through Robby LaRiviere and Nick’s sister, Sandra Chavez Hurley.
Robby LaRiviere, a brilliant stylist and Nick’s long-time protégé and on-air and media partner, will continue as the spokesperson for the brand. Trained by Nick and having actively participated in all product development and formulations with Nick, Robby will continue not only the ideals of Nick’s product line, but also its innovation and constant drive for the best possible products.
Robby will be joined by Nick’s sister, Sandra, who has been an active collaborator in all product development and innovation for “Nick Chavez Beverly Hills” from the very beginning of the product line.
